(1952 – 2000 and soon).
January 31 – February 12
David began his drawing and painting efforts as a child, on the reverse side of old
wallpaper as the family were too poor to buy drawing blocks, a new pencil was a rare
treat as was the tin bath on Sundays.
At the age of 11 David began the martial art Judo, in which he excelled and achieved
2nd Dan at the age of 20. This promising career was ended by an over relaxed attitude
to a machine tool which unhappily devoured his right index finger.
After a period working in Dammam Saudi Arabia, Cosworth engines and cryogenic
and vacuum technology. David moved to Spain in 1997 and began to paint seriously.
This exhibition is the result of those efforts. This is his first solo exhibition and he
crosses what fingers remain that it becomes well received.
David is single with one adult son (Morgan) and lives in Los Pacos, Fuengirola.
