I was born December 12, 1948 beside the wide open seas on the West Coast of Finland, where I grew up and spent my youth surrounded by art and music.
My earliest childhood memories are of walking happily alone on the beach and in the forest enjoying the light and shadows.
My Lego bricks consisted of stones, pine cones and buckets of water

During my time in Helsinki 1971- 1978 I was taught by several artists including Göran Augustsson, who was then a teacher at the Academy. Even so my great mentor was my father Marjos Maximiliam, who through his art created in me the desire to paint.
My work with autistic people has helped me try to bring out peoples’ inner experiences through painting. I also work as an art teacher at the Sofia education-centre in Spain.
Over the years, I have had exhibitions in Sweden, Finland, Venezuela and in Spain.
